Blur & Unblur AI is designed first as a private browser-based face blur tool. It helps you detect faces, blur selected faces, draw manual lasso face masks, and export a clean face-redacted PNG. The main image workflow runs locally on your device with browser APIs such as Canvas and client-side JavaScript.

When you choose an image, the file is decoded by your browser and rendered into the local face blur editor. The site does not provide an upload endpoint for source photos, edited photos, detected faces, lasso regions, or downloaded PNG results. The final download is generated directly from the browser canvas.

Face detection is used only to create editable blur masks inside the page. A detected face box can be toggled or removed, and a lasso face region can be drawn manually when automatic detection is not enough. These selections are part of the local editing state and are not intentionally transmitted by this site.

This project is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process standard technical information such as IP address, user agent, request time, and requested URL as part of normal static hosting, security, abuse prevention, and reliability operations.

Blur & Unblur AI does not ask for account registration, payment details, or email addresses. Do not load face photos that you are not allowed to edit, and review the blurred output before sharing it publicly.
